World population has grown enormously over last few years. We were about a billion 100 years ago & now it’s a whopping 8 billion & counting. This exponential growth in population has increased population density across the world, turning playgrounds into roads, city into a jigsaw puzzle, houses into match box & lastly human into a machine.

Today the world GDP stands at 75 Trillion USD, 20 times the GDP 30 years ago. The human race, biologically most advanced, in search of prosperity designed the concept of COMPETITION, keeping in mind well interests of our people. But has this seemingly innocuous concept served its purpose?? Has it elevated the human race or depreciated its value?

Scientific name for Human is Homo sapiens, Latin for “wise man”. I wonder how all this started, the HUMAN 2.0, laced in thrive for purpose & prosperity turning a blind eye to own happiness & those of others surrounding him. In this race called Life, he has forgotten why he started this, so engrossed in the happenings, like audience in a movie.

In this growing world comprising of 8 billion people, his actions have left no consequences but have drifted him further away from other humans. Study shows that in 1970, 72% of male and 87% of female above age 25 were married, this number has just reversed in 2017, today 62% of male & 57% of females above age 25 are not married.

Minuscule married population can be seen sitting with their better halves at restaurant while busy texting others or scrolling pages on facebook, sipping tea with mind filled with morning news & stocks. Today Respect, Relation & Care are mere noun to him, he has grown assertive, weights every decision of his basis logic.

But they say love & affection is to human what oil & gas is to machine. Can exist without it but not so alive. So where exactly is he looking for love?

Statistics show that more than half of families in world own a pet, mostly a dog or a cat. Pet ownership has tripled in last 30 years. If we talk about teenage group then, 56% of teens go online several times day & only 2% of teen go online very less often.

When did this happen, since when human prioritized a machine & an animal above other human. What is causing this apathy towards human by another human? Why this asymmetry??

But at this juncture what do you think is more important, the reason or the remedy? Decide for yourself..!!
